Giant Mekong Catfish

Michael was visiting Thailand from Hong Kong with his friend David from New York. Both guys were quite keen fishermen and chose us to put together a days Cat fishing at Bungsamran for them. The action at Bungsamran was pretty non stop over the course of the day and it was great to see the lads hauling in those mighty Mekongs. The catch rates and sizes of fish were pretty similar for both Michael and David whilst we fished, but later on in the day Michaels right shoulder began to give him some discomfort. Fishing for Mekong's at Bungsamran is probably pushing it a bit after you have just played and won in a major Dodgeball league. The largest fish of the day, at 26kg, went to Michael in the end. Perhaps next time the guys are in Thailand David can equal the score a bit. Best Fish: David up to 21kg Michael up to 26kg
